Dual Parent/Tutor Perspective
After raising three children, two with severe learning challenges, I become a certified Orton-Gillingham tutor to teach others how to read and spell. My philosophy is simple; teach each child in the way they learn best.
First, we get to know the student’s challenges in the classroom. We determine what has worked and what has not. With this knowledge we can define a path to future success. Our approach goes beyond what binds a book; we help students along their own path to fluency, automaticity and mastery.
